Being off-grid the tiny home is powered by a solar system. The best part about the who thing is the location that offers serene across Sleaford Bay to the vast expanse of pure white sandhills separating Port Lincoln National Park from the rugged southern ocean. Glass Cottage in Iceland
One of my dream destinations and my personal favorite on the list is the glass cottage dubbed Blár. What makes an ordinary glass cottage worth $600 a night is its location. Based in Hella, Iceland, the Airbnb is located in a lava desert in the south of Iceland. The best part, you get to witness the swirling views of the northern lights and slumber under the starry night. Furthermore, there is a Jacuzzi on an outside deck so you’d not really regret shedding money.
The One-and-Only Hobbiton in Matamata, New Zealand
I will be concluding the list with a hobbit house that shall be available for stay beginning next year. However, the One-and-Only Hobbiton (the real-life location of the Hobbit movie) was announced in 2022 and it would have been a blatant crime to miss it from our list. Despite being available for a short duration of time, it is one of the coziest places to spend a night. The bookings for 2023 are closed for now, but if luck rides by your side, who knows you might spend a night in Middle-earth.
We hope you’d fancy one of these Airbnbs. Do write to us about your experience in the comment section if you happen to spend a night in one of the above. Thank you for staying a loyal reader of our magazine as we need your constant support and love in growing. I, on behalf of the entire team at Homecrux, would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
